Like you, I have played with MT, Joomla, Drupal and also had a WP blog.

In February, I moved to Habari, primarily because I disliked the dashboard in WP 2.5.

I think the Habari administration interface is simple, clean, functional and uncluttered. I'm no UI designer but it looks like it was designed rather than evolved.

Curiously enough, I then went on and ported a WP theme. Odd - because I had never written a WP theme before.

As for why Habari doesn't generate more buzz, we are discussing that very issue over on the mailing list right now :-)

Anyway, posts like this will certainly help to spread the news.

Cheers
--
Andy

Re: Questions About Habari for WordPress Users

Andrew, you have given me the reason to try and install it. I'll give it a try right now and will report back in a while.

Re: Questions About Habari for WordPress Users

Upgrading to php5. Really, that's it.

Haven't got around to it on the server nor locally.
