Tell you what, I came close to using IntenseDebate as I become increasingly frustrated with styling the threaded comments for my theme. What a nightmare. Still on the fence but using something like ID looks more appealing the more that time goes on.

Andrew, we have identified the issue with the importer and have applied a fix. Is there any chance that you would be willing to give IntenseDebate another try? Please feel free to drop me a note with any questions.
